The reincarnation of lives showed and taught in the new testament

From the teachings of Sakyamuni, life readings of Edgar Cayce and the reincarnation research of Ian Stevenson to the numerous previous life images seen and read by Cai Lingji in Taiwan and other clairvoyants in other countries, there have already been adequate evidences for the existence of reincarnation.

Jesus, as the messenger of the Greatest Creator and savior of mankind, it is impossible that he hadn’t told anything about reincarnation, most of his relative teachings must had been deleted for some reason in history. In spite of it, we can still learn from the New Testament and the gospel of Thomas that some teachings and stories about reincarnation.

1. Jesus’s came to earth and went back to heaven is an instance of reincarnation, Jesus exists before the creation of this world.

“I tell you the truth,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” (John 8:58)

“Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. ” (John 17:5)

“What if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before!” (John 6:62)

“I am with you for only a short time, and then I go to the one who sent me.” (John 7:33)

2. The essence of life is spirit(soul), the quality of one’s spirit will determine his going to heaven or hell, body is just a carrier and tool of spirit.

Her spirit returned, and at once she stood up. (Luke 8:55)

“What goes into a man’s mouth does not make him ‘unclean,’ but what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him ‘unclean.’ ” (Matthew 15:11)

“First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.” (Matthew 23:26)

“All these evils come from inside and make a man ‘unclean.’” (Mark 7:23)

“Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. On him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.” (John 6:27)

“Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.” (John 3:6)

“The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing.” (John 6:63)

3. Good souls will be pulled to heaven and the bad ones be pushed to hell

“The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one.” (Matthew 10:38)

“Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.” (Matthew 25:46)

“Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.” (Luke 12:5)

“The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side.” (Luke 16:22-23)

4. Some ripe crops came from heaven, and will get back to heaven through reincarnation

“Blessed are the solitary and elect, for you will find the kingdom. For you are from it, and to it you will return.” (Gospel of Thomas, Saying 49)

“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.” (Luke 19:10)

“The kingdom is like a shepherd who had a hundred sheep. One of them, the largest, went astray. He left the ninety-nine sheep and looked for that one until he found it. When he had gone to such trouble, he said to the sheep, ‘I care for you more than the ninety-nine.’” (Gospel of Thomas 107, Matthew 18:12-13, Luke 15:4-6)

5. One of the previous lives of John the Baptist is Elijah

“‘But I tell you, Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished. In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands.’ Then the disciples understood that he was talking to them about John the Baptist. (Matthew 17:12-13)

6. Animals may become humans to ask for payment of debt via reincarnation

“Blessed is the lion which becomes man when consumed by man; and cursed is the man whom the lion consumes, and the lion becomes man.” (Gospel of Thomas, Saying 7)

7. The miracle that demons were driven out of two men and into a herd of pigs is also an instance of reincarnation

“He said to them, ‘Go!’ So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water.” (Matthew 8:32)

8. Besides, the Old Testament also has an instance of reincarnation.

“The Lord brought me forth as the first of his works, before his deeds of old” (Proverbs 8:22)

“Then I was the craftsman at his side. I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in his presence.” (Proverbs 8:30)

Thus, there is no doubt that Jesus did had taught the truth about reincarnation, hope this fact and knowledge will let you rejoice to see the truth and life, and be more solid and clearer in the belief in the way revealed by Jesus.
