Neither marry nor be given in marriage

1. “What God has joined together, let man not separate.” was said for man, not for the followers

“Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, ‘Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?’

‘Haven’t you read,’ he replied, ‘that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?

So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.” (Matthew 19:3-6)

2. For disciples and the son of heaven, should renounce the marriage:

“The disciples said to him, ‘If this is the situation between a husband and wife, it is better not to marry.’

Jesus replied, ‘Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given.

For some are eunuchs because they were born that way; others were made that way by men; and others have renounced marriage because of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it.” (Matthew 19:10-12)

3. No marriage and family in heaven

“At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.” (Matthew 22:30)

4. In heaven are people like little kids

“I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” (Mark 10:15)

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14)

“When you strip naked without being ashamed, and throw your clothes on the ground and stomp on them as little children would, then [you’ll] see the Son of the Living One and won’t be afraid.” (Gospel of Thomas, Saying 37)

5. Jesus came to break the family and marriage lifestyle

“For I have come to turn ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law–

a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’

Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me;

and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.” (Matthew 10:35-38)

6. The new relationship is built on universal love

“For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” (Matthew 12:50)

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:34-35)

7. Who has left the marriage and family for the sake of heaven will get a hundred times as much, and will inherit eternal life

“No one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God will fail to receive many times as much in this age and, in the age to come, eternal life.” (Luke 18:29-30)

8. Not be given in marriage does not mean not have sexual life, if The Greatest Creator don’t like us to have sexual life, then He won’t let us have sexual organs and the great pleasures

“His disciples said to him, ‘Is circumcision useful, or not?’

He said to them, ‘If it were useful, parents would have children who are born circumcised. But the true circumcision in spirit has become profitable in every way.’ (Gospel of Thomas 53)
